Born and bred in Irun, a little town in the Basque Country, north of Spain, Ane graduated from the University of the Basque Country in 2013 with a BA in English Philology, and her love of languages and her study abroad experience at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, brought her back to the US to pursue her graduate studies.

Apart from her academic interests and teaching Spanish, Ane enjoys being with friends, the beach, biking everywhere and watching reruns of Criminal Minds.
